Mark Halliday holds post graduate degrees from Birmingham University of the Arts and Royal College of Art in painting and sculpture respectively. He worked for nine years as a Senior Lecturer in Sculpture at Cardiff School of Art & Design. He has undertaken projects and exhibited widely at home and abroad, notably in Tiblisi, Tallin and Paris.
Notable works and projects include a commission by Station gallery in Bristol to make a large-scale outdoor sculptural intervention called ‘Falsework’; a research project on the Estonian island of Huimaa into low technology methods of bronze casting and work towards the Library of Cast Objects to be housed at Cilyrynys, Carmarthenshire.
