Rachel Bennett graduated from Cardiff School of Art in 2005.
She makes sculptures that explore ideas of wholeness and otherness, deconstructing and remaking objects usually with a historical basis in costume or sculptural fashion.
Using materials such as felt, cardboard and wood she hopes for a tactility in her work that speaks of the body as an insular place, separate and contained.
